Twelve Angry Jurors is based on the Emmy award-winning 1950’s Studio One TV movie, Twelve Angry Men by Reginal Rose, adapted for the stage by Sherman L. Sergel. The play, directed by Steve Winegard, with Becky and Eddie Price, producers, centers around 12 jurors sequestered in the jury room having been instructed to unanimously decide the fate of a 19-year-old man accused of murdering his father. As relevant today as it was in the 50’s, this death penalty courtroom drama tells how the jurors reach their final, “beyond a reasonable doubt” verdict.
Staged in the Waynesboro Golf & Country Club Ballroom, this intimate space takes our audiences into the locked jury room as the biases and personalities of the 12 jurors work their way into the deliberations.
The Country Club is offering a Cocktail Hour one hour prior to each performance. We’re excited to add to that offering a special invitation to enjoy a meal following the Sunday matinee for our season ticket subscribers, our sponsors, and the Country Club members and guests. This is one performance “invitation only” offering. For pricing, menu selections and reservation deadline, contact the Waynesboro Golf and Country Club at 943-1131. Cocktail Hour and meal are priced separately from show tickets.
Tickets: Adults $13, Students $7.
Waynesboro Country Club asks that anyone under 16 is supervised at all times.
